Carol is a sweet dog who loves attention. She has severe alopecia and multiple fractured teeth, requiring extensive dental work that our shelter cannot provide. She needs a caring home to support her recovery.

Medical:
12/1- Skittish, BCS = 3/9, AU- waxy debris, alopecia/hyperpigmentation/lichenification/crusts/odor on dorsum/tail/hindlimbs. Ventral surface is erythematous. Multiple small growths on skin. All incisors and canines are fractured. Probable atopy +/- FAD +/- secondary bacterial and/or yeast infection. Sedated to get ear cytology samples and clean and treat ears. Will need extensive dental work to remove fractured teeth.

11/30- semi walks on leash, very sweet, loves attention
Volunteer Observation
12/1- Carol was quiet in the kennel. Took treats and was easy to leash up and go outside. On e outside she explored. She may not understand the sit command, but she takes treats gently. She allowed petting. She has a friendly independent nature.
