Oat is at risk due to behavioral concerns. Oat has not acclimated well to the shelter environment due to kennel stress. Oat presented as initially fearful but quickly warmed with treats and a slow approach. But as his length of stay has progressed, Oat has shown a concerning level of arousal. When handlers are returning him to his kennel, he has escalated to biting a handler and leash biting. The bite did not break the skin but did leave red marks and raised skin. Medically, Oat has diarrhea.
