Himo is at risk due to behavioral reasons. Himo has been observed to hover over items with a tense body, to jump up and grab handlers clothes, and to jump towards handlers hands / chest with an open mouth. When he first arrived at the care centers, Himo would baulk and it was challenging returning him to kennel, he no longer baulks when returning, however, he is persistently jumping towards handlers with an open mouth, in attempt to mouth or grab clothing. He is redirectable with treats, but they have to be tossed consistently. He has tolerated pets on his head and chin while in care and, at times, has been social with handlers. Himo has CIRDC symptoms.
