Lilly Mae is a wonderful, friendly, calm young dog looking for a home where she can enjoy some time outside, treats, and pets and scratches from her person.
When I approached Lilly Mae's kennel, she greeted me by doing an incredibly cute, tippy tap dance with her paws. When we got outside, Lilly Mae relieved herself several times, which may indicate experience with housetraining. After that, Lilly Mae really enjoyed rolling around in the grass and giving herself a good back scratching. She also enjoyed munching on the grass!! When we got into the play area, she put her head under a ramp to eat the grass under there which was very cute.
Lilly Mae has great leash manners. Not only did she walk without pulling, but she also had a nice pace, that was not too fast. When she was in the play yard, she alternated between exploring, eating grass, and coming over to me for pets (and possibly treats).
Lilly Mae has a natural, relaxed, happy-go-lucky demeanor that made her a pleasure to spend time with. She is a wonderful dog who will bring joy and affection to the person who adopts her.
