𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 9/27 Approaching kennel, Nickels is backed up in the back of kennel with worried facial expression, dilated pupils, wrinkled face, and low curled tail. I babytalk and slowly leash from my side since he remains frozen. Once out of the kennel, he walks far away from me holding either a very forward leash or walking behind me with raised hackles as well as a side eye. I placed him in the chicken coop today to give him some space from other dogs as well as potty break. After going back for him, he does come to me slowly with lowered ears, and slow tail wag as I squat down and offer my hand for a sniff as well as babytalk. I slowly leash and he holds the same body language as previously described when leash walking. Recovered his kennel door to provide with privacy. 9/26 Upon approach from another handler, Nickles held raised hackles, worried facial expression, and high curled flag tail. I offered treats to leash him and noticed him walking with his body pulling away from where I was standing as well as holding a hard stare. Placed him in the SN kennel to have help with checking the drain. When I went back to retrieve him, dog began to low growl at me as well as backed up in the back of kennel with a tense face and would manuver himself to attempt to dart from the side of me. I babytalked, squatted down, offered treats, and slowly leashed him from my side. After being placed in kennel, noticed him flinching and turning his head around quickly when getting the leash. 9/25 lying down but jumped up when approached, stood at back of kennel with high flag tail, head low and hard staring as I placed blanket down.
