𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Jumbo if such a character! I walked up to his kennel and this boy was laying on his back just relaxing. He even saw me and wasn?t startled at all. I love my black boy doggos and I?m worried about Jumbo because he?s HW+ and that combination is tough. He did great on his temp test and was happy to just meander around with Lizzie. We took a spot in the grass and cuddled and he gave me good boy kisses. Of course he went belly up and rolled in the grass. He?s funny and sweet. Oh man, I really love him.
𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 9/6 strays roaming the area 📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 9/17 Noticed dog was continuisely barking. Decided to take out on walk to see if he needed to potty. Once we reached grass he immediatly relieved himself. There was a citizen sitting on the bench outside when we walked closer to them Jumbo began to growl keeping focus on them, lowered head, stiff tail. I tried to redirect with treats and he stopped to sniff a treat but kept focus on the citizens. I eventually had to give a slight tug to get him to walk in the opposite direction. During the entire walk he kept looking at them.INce I Placed him back inside kennel i noticed a citizen was walking past kennel and he was presenting the same body language when I stepped into the row and I approached him I could hear him low growling and he began to snarl at the citizen that was walking past. I tossed alot of treats to the back which he took interest in. Covered kennel and placing on adopt eval 9/16 Lounging on bedding. I opened kennel and dog slowly got up with neutral body, slow sweeping tail, neutral eyes and ears. Walked on a loose leash to and from runs. Once back in kennel. Sleeps entire day.
