𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀
Jefferson is a strong boy and will need someone with experience. He is tense around other dogs and pulls on leash, but this guy does appear to be potty trained, knows sit, and can focus on you if you have treats ❤️. He pulled really hard when we first got outside but I worked on it with him and he became a bit receptive to direction throughout the walk. He deserves a chance and can definitely improve if someone is willing to work with him.
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
9/16 When I approached his kennel, Jefferson greeted me with a wiggly body. I leashed him and he walked on a tight leash to the outside runs. He walked back in on a tight leash into his kennel.
9/15 Jefferson walked with a hard leash. He low growled at a male volunteer while out in a run, but was receptive to treats and returned to kennel with the same volunteer. When passing kennel, he was sitting by the kennel door with his ears up, and tail wagging.
9/11 Approaching kennel he is standing in the front of the kennel. I opened the kennel and he walked slowly towards me with his head bowed and a low wagging tail. I pet his head and scratched his ears, he closed his eyes and leaned into me.
9/10 Walks on a tight leash, tensed, tail down. Placed him in an outside run.
