𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 9/4 Refused to get up and walk out of kennel, tensed in back of kennel, muzzled and carried to new kennel 9/5 dog was laying down and as i approched dog slowly stood up with tail down and as i baby talked to her she slowly wagged her tail and walked out the kennel. when i had her outside she pottied and walked lose leash then stood next to me. 9/9 Dog is timid and shy, dilated pupils and lip licking upon approach. I slowly approached kennel and she backed away from me. I slowly leashed she she slowly walked out. Once I placed her in the runs and she went towards the back of the run. Upon coming back to get her she avoided all contact with me. Anytime I got near her she ran in the opposite direction. I had to slowly approach and face side ways in order to slowly leash her up. She stop and kneeled down and had her head down lip licking as I slowly placed leash around her neck. Placing back on Adopt eval and Leash Walk Only . 9/10 Gustav is curled up in her bedding upon approach, as soon as she see's me she begins to lip lick and back away . Once leashed she slowly walked out behind me. I walked her out to the grassy area and she sniffed aorund and began to potty right away. She looked aorund and would look up at me with whale eyes. After she used the potty I walked her back to her kennel. She runs to her bed and puts her head down. 09/10/24 13:33 9/12 Approaching kennel, Gustav remained laying down in bed curled up with tucked tail and worried facial expression as I babytalked and got near with treats. I slowly leashed her while she held a tense face and whaled-eyes and then lured her out slowly into the grassy area outside the building. Once placed back, she stood with a tense body and liplicked a few times as I waited for her kennel to be finished cleaning. Throughout the day, she remains in bed curled up. 9/13 Throughout the whole walking session in the morning, dog held the same behavior as mentioned in previous note. Today, when taking her out on a walk in the grassy area I did notice a slight shift in her body language in which she would come to me slowly as I would be squatting down, while holding lowered ears, tucked tail wag and liplicking. Would still recommend to slowly work with her.
