𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 We were not able to meet Chabelo, but if you want to help meet the animals, please reach out to us!
𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 1 german sheppard, 1 black mix pitbull, 1 brown mix pitbull roaming the area wont leave the property please call if you can't fnd the dogs PLEASE CALL WHEN IN ROUTE!!!
𝗣𝗹𝗲𝐚 none 📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 9/4: AS I APPROACHED CHABELO GREETED ME BY HIS KENNEL DOOR WITH A RELAXED BODY, SLOW WAGGING TAIL AND SOFT MOUTH. ONCE LEASHED HE SLOWLY WALKED WHILE MAINTAINING A LOOSE LEASH. HE WOULD OCCASIONALY FREEZE AND PULL BACK ON LEASH BUT WOULD RELAX AND CONTINUE WALKING AS I BABY TALKED TO HIM. 9/1: Appraching the kennel Chabelo greeted me with a wiggly body, low wagging tail and dilated eyes. I open the kennel door put the leash on him and he walk out of the kennel slowly and with his body lower to the ground. Chabelo still walked slow but he will eat the treat I will place in front of him. Once we got to the entrace gate of the run, Chabelo pancake to the ground and then he rolled to his back. I started to babytalk to him to get him up but he didn't budge, I then tossed treats in front of him to get him up but he just layed there on his side and ate the treats while laying on the ground. I then bent down to pick him up but he kept rolling more to his back preventing me from picking him up. Then again, I baby talk to him and he got up and when I was about to pick him up he pancake to the ground again but I was able to carry him to the run before he rolled to the back. 8/26: Dog was walking on a tense body, tail lose, head lowered, walks on a foward leash.
