Nova was not what I expected after seeing she was rescue only. She was very wiggly and excited to see me. She sat and was very treat motivated. I wasn?t able to take her out of the kennel due to the weather, but she was so happy to see me regardless. She seems to just be really stressed being in the kennel.

08/21/24 Standing on all fours at kennel door with wagging tail. Initially walked out of kennel close to my side with loose leash but once we exited row began pulling forward with tight leash out to runs. Unleashed in runs and she pottied, afterwards waiting by gate standing on hind legs with front paws on fence. Walked with semi-tight leash back inside.
8/27 Nova is very vocal in her kennel along with nonstop jumping on kennel door. I had a hard time leashing her up, once leashed she was very forward on the leash . I tried to get her to slow down with treats along with stopping in between the walk. Nothing helped, So I attempted to harness her using my leash she did stop pulling forward. I walked her ihnto the run. When I came back to leash her up again , I walked into the run and closed the kennel door behind me to attempt to harness her up again before walking out. She began to jump up at me, jumping towards my face. I used my hands to block her then she began being mouthy towards my hand. I was leaving down during this and attempted to get up she knocked down my radio in the process. Once I stood up and she was harnessed I stood and waited on her to stop and then proceeded to walk her back to kennel. She walks much better on a harness and it helps to prevent her form pulling due to being very strong on the leash. But if unable to harness her due to behavior, could be hard walking her properly. Pacing on Beh Cosntl due to this incident.
8/28 Nova is vocal jumping on the kennel door. In order to leash her I have to toss down treats . Once leashed she is forward coming out and very strong on the leash. She goes to each kennel and sniffs, I try to keep her walking forward to prevent any further stress. She pulls forward to the runs. I am able to unleash her and exit. Once I come back for her i am bale to easily leash and she walks out on a loose leash back to her kennel. She is vocal once she is back inside and I offer her enrichment to keenl her occupied.
