Stormy was super waggy and tippy tappy in her kennel and she was excited to get some attention! She took treats gently through the bars and was all oh boy a friend! She was easy to leash and sniffed multiple dogs down the row with a happy waggy tail. Once outside she immediately did a tinkle so she might be potty trained! She walked well on a leash too! She is treat motivated, will sit immediately on command and takes treats gently. She?s such a happy waggy young girl! She wasn?t super interested in a ball but preferred floor snacks instead. She has some energy, which is on par with her age but it?s not overkill by any means. She?s not overly jumpy nor mouthy. When I got on her level she crawled up on my lap and immediately gave me all the kisses! She had such a fun time doing zoomies with A1955593 Axel, they just went right into party time running happily back and forth with each other. It was too cute! Stormy did like to play with a rope toy over a ball! She enjoyed tug o war with me but wasn?t trying too hard, she was definitely there for the interaction aspect and wasn?t trying to steal it away from me. Stormy is a great girl! She?s petite, happy, energetic, and cute as can be! She?d make a great take anywhere adventure dog because she loves people and other dogs so much! She went right back inside to her kennel easy peasy saying hello to dog down the row again.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
8/12 Stormy is vocal in the kennel. She presents tap dazing, panting, alert ears and jumping. Outside she was vocal too. She used the grass of the runs for the potty. When I returned her to the kennel she began vocal again. So I put a blanket in her kennel's door.
8/16 Stormy greeted me at the kennel door with a wiggly tail and by jumping up on the kennel door. When i opened the kennel door she let me leash her and immediately started to pull on her leash. She walked on a mostly tight leash to and from the potty yards with the occasional jumping up towards me excitedly. She is responsive to treats when she is going slow enough to notice them.
8/19 not able to perform the heartworm test due to the dog's hackles up, barking and backing up with wild eyes. Very stressed out. Stormy is very vocal in her kennel. She is also very reactive towards dogs as they pass her kennel. Needs to be covered once she is placed back in kennel. She still remains vocal even after. Treat motivated and I am able to use treats in the kennel to redirect her.
