𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 very happy boy with lots of energy!!! he was really eager to go outside and give all of the hugs. he did calm down significantly and was able to get attention calmly and sweetly though! He definitely has potential as he is also very treat eager! once he realized I was only going to give him a treat if all 4 were on the floor he picked it up pretty fast! he obviously still jumped a bit but he was much more manageable when you held him accountable. I think he honestly was such a good boy, I think he just probably was once a super cute small puppy and grew up without structure and the basics. He looooves to give you kisses and just enjoyed watching everything going on around him while getting some pets. he didn?t really do his business outside but the grass is sooo long and it just got done raining. His kennel was also clean so it?s possible he had already either gone or been outside. I took the video of him walking down the kennels after we had been outside but I didn?t see any negative reactions to the dogs. such a sweet, active boy who is not showing well at the shelter with some super fixable puppy behavior!

𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 7/21: Loudly barking in kennel ; disruptive. Kennel was covered, dog was trying to look underneath cover to bark and charge the door as other dogs walked by. Very jumpy when approached to be leash walked. Unable to leash walk once outside ; very jumpy. Attaching himself to my body and kicking off, hitting grass with a thud. Placed in runs and Zip continued barking loudly. I later leashed him and walked him to a kennel in Evaluation. He ate a trail of chicken breast pieces, heavily panting in between. 7/20: Zip is very vocal in the kennel, Whe I leash him to go outside, he took treats very fast, jumps and pull the leash. When I left him in the runs he was very vocal too. When I returned to his kennel I give him the enrichment and cover his kennel's door. 7/17: Painted in kennel overnight. When walking past the kennel with other dogs he began to jump up on walls, while high pitch barking. When opening kennel he tried to push his head through the kennel door. I placed treats on the ground and leashed him while he was distracted. Walked on a semi loose leash, very bouncy, and tried offering treats but he became distracted by the people walking by, so he lost interest in the treats. Placed in run in between Silver (A1948112) and sibling Net (A1951818) and he began to run the fence line play bowing and barking. Throughout the day he jumps up on the kennel door knocking over the water bowl. Had to cover the kennel and offer enrichment and rawhide. Placing on Adopt eval.
