𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀We were not able to meet her. If you have interest or questions about a pet, please contact BARC. We are in need of more volunteers to meet the dogs. If you are interested in helping, please message the page! 🔸𝗣𝗹𝗲𝐚 Sandy was known as the neighborhood dog, she would roam from house to house. One Neighbor didn?t like her using his yard to do her business so they called animal control. She is a very friendly girl, when I went to meet her she gave lots of kisses and pawed at me for more ear scratches. Please let us know if you can help Sandy, she is spayed and ready to go!
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 2/2 Dog was lying down, stood up but was crouching with tail down and wagging, ears low and licking snout. I leashed and she remained still, but once I sat next to her and pet her for a little bit, when I stood up she followed me out of kennel and down row. Once unleashed in run she walked off to potty, more relaxed and when another ACT went up to gate to leash she speed walked to the gate with wagging tail and walked out with loose leash. 2/5 Timid body language in kennel, lying in back of kennel. I opened the kennel door and leashed her and she stayed still not wanting to move. I began to pet and rub her then she began to get more comfortable and started slowly walking. I walked her outside, her tail was still slightly tucked but she'd continue to walk by my side and rub against my leg. She pottied then I walked her back inside to her kennel. 2/13 When approaching kennel I observed that she kept her kennel clean throughout the night, and during the day she remained quiet laying in her kennel. When leashed she is semi forward on leash but is easily redirected with treats. So I placed a treat trail to the outside runs, she then used the restroom and waited patiently by the gate to come back inside.
