𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: Blizzard was a popular guy while walking!! Everyone we passed commented on this fluffy guy. He sat super nicely and actually walked very well on the leash! He had a ?leash walk only? tag on his kennel, and I didn?t read his other notes but I?m thinking maybe it?s because he could be a bit of an escape artist? He did well sniffing other dogs through the fences. He has some type of skin issue going on the back of his neck, but it doesn?t appear to be painful for anything for him! He really is a handsome guy. He went back into the kennel easily for me so I gave him some more treats. He is a bit vocal in his kennel, but most huskies are pretty vocal anyway!
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 2/4 - Approahcing his kennel, Blizzard holds dialated pupils and does have a slight heavy pant, I placed leash and he begins to hold a smie-tight leash as we walk. I noticed he tends to look in directions of other dogs and refused terats but allowed me to redirect with the leash as we walked in. In his kennel he would begin to low growl at other dogs if they got to close to his kennel door. He remians quiet in his kennel but from time to time will notice that he will begin to pace with a whale eye. 2/2 - Approaching kennel, Blizzard is pacing from side to side with dilated pupils and an open mouth pant as I babytalk to her. I leash him in which he came out with a zigzagging on the leash as well as ignoring treats being offered. Noticed him get very vocal as well as pacing and panting a lot one left in the runs. I would recommend to leash walk him. Also left his kennel covered due to him vocalizing as I walked with other dogs. Blizzard walked with an open mouth and would look back as I loose leash walked him out in the PM. 2/1 - Approaching kennel, Blizzard stats to pace from side to side with an open mouth and dilated pupils as I babytalk to him. Upon leashing, dog constantly shakes his head due to his neck injury. Once placed in runs as well as back in his kennel, dog begins to pace from side to side with an open mouth pant again. As the other kennels are being cleaned, dog begins to vocalize, as well as when other dogs are barking. Covered kennel door and gave extra enrichment.
