Birdie is scared and using a defense mechanism of growling/barking to protect herself and appear tough from in her kennel as I am sure she is very stressed. She is listed as a puppy, and she took treats from me and kept a wagging tail but was nervous if I got too close to her kennel. I wasn?t able to take her out, but I hope she gets a chance at a life out of here and has time to learn to trust!
