This little girl was scared in her kennel but let me leash her and walked out with me. In the yard she was visibly scared but took treats from me and let me pet her. She started opening up a little bit and seemed to light up when she saw the dog next to us. She?s clearly overwhelmed but you can tell she so badly wants to trust you, just needs a little bit of time. She started following me around a little bit and kept greeting the pup next to us. She?s very sweet, just needs to gain a little bit of confidence. Easy to leash and put back on her kennel.
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 12/22 - Tense shaking body, wide whale eyes, and pinned back ears. once leashed walked slowly out of kennel. once she was fully out she began pulling back and trashing on leash. had to muzzle and carry her into clean kennel. as i was carrying her she began trashing making it difficult to keep a firm grip on her.
12/21 - As i approached dog had a tense trembling body, tucked in tail and whale eyes. once leashed dog army crawled and would attempt to run into other kennels. ignored trail of treats and would pull back on leash and trash and attempt to bite it. was was able to get her to walk into her new kennel after stopping a couple of times.
12/20 - Dog was sitting in the back of the kennel, i was able to place the leash, she slowly walked out i was able to muzzle and carry into a new kennel 12/18 - Dog has tense body, shaking towards back of kennel with a tucked tail. When I open kennel door and step into kennel dog starts to low growl. Tossed treats dog did not eat any, had to muzzle and carry to new kennel.
