Island needs emergency placement due to behavioral concerns. Island has not acclimated well to the shelter environment and is highly defensive in her kennel. Island has escalated to baring her teeth, lunging, growling, hard barking, and charging toward handlers when they approach her kennel or attempt to leash her. When removed from her kennel, Island is avoidant of interaction and remains highly fearful. Medically, Island is currently healthy.
