I hope someone isn?t fooled by Reeves?s seemingly rough and tough exterior because it belies his sweet and goofy nature. I don?t know if it?s just because he?s so pink around his ears, eye and muzzle, but I couldn?t initially read his body language well. He had all the signs of being approachable (wagging tail and loose, wiggly body; took treats; wasn?t barking or showing signs of aggression) but still, I hesitated. The ACT for his ward assured me he was sweet and I?m so happy I listened because the boy is butter! He walks a bit strong on the leash without doubt but that was the only real fault I could find. He pottied as soon as he left his (clean) kennel, he sniffed at dogs but mostly kept to himself, and ran the fence line with Lorenzo playing quietly as I worked with other pups. He doesn?t seem to know any commands but that?s okay! He did very well in his temp test, parallel walking and getting a few respectful sniffs in, all the while ignoring when Lorenzo got a bit stiff and weird when they got too close. He gives strong Lovable Doofus vibes that I just adored
