Even though the shelter is busting at the seams with pups I just had to hang out with Maki twice this week, because I love her so much. 🥲 When you meet her she looks like a large dog, but she is only 58lbs and mostly just a big ol Akita head. She walks great on leash, and had no reaction to dogs in the runs next to us. She is a sucker for a belly rubs, knows how to sit, and even played a little fetch with me. Her temperament is so lovely and she would thrive in a home environment! She?s only on the list due to length of stay and space. She has great staff notes, she?s just out of time!!!
