I came into the shelter as a agency on 8/13/2023.
Melon is in need of emergency placement due to behavioral concerns. Melon has not acclimated well to the shelter environment and is becoming difficult to house safely due to his poor kennel presence and attempts to bite staff when handled despite best efforts to keep him comfortable. However, once out of his kennel, Melon does display social behaviors to familiar staff and caretakers. Medically, Melon is apparently healthy.
