poor guy is terribly over-aroused in the shelter. He was screeching and barking in his kennel as I approached and pushed open the kennel door before I could get him on lead. She walks forward on a tight leash with a wide mouth pant but greeted the few dogs we encountered with a good measure of disinterest. Time outside seemed to go only so far to help alleviate his stress and when it was time to go back inside, he fought returning to his kennel and even popped open the latch before running loose in eval. He has a very nice thick tactical collar on and knows some basic commands so he was clearly owned at one point. I?m not sure if it?s the stress of the shelter or something else but he had blood in his stool and strained to go.
