Poor Lionel is so shut down. He was the only dog on the row so it was very quiet in his ward. He did let me leash him but wouldn't move. I tried gently pulling and nothing. I was able to take the leash off with no problem. He didn't growl at all at me when I attempted to pet him. As a matter of fact, he did let me pet him numerous times but made no attempt to give me any eye contact. If he could have just melted into the wall to where no one could notice him, he would have been happy. When petting him, I noticed he had a lot of scabs on his head and neck, as well, his fur felt like he hadn't been bathed in a long time. I know once he can decompress and have a good bath this boy will be the gorgeous guy he is suppose to be.
