When I approached Blue's kennel there was a blanket up and he was lounging on his bed. He was super easy to leash with little gentle tugs while walking. Once in the run he wanted nothing to do with me. Treats did not motivate him. He's so gorgeous and also muscular. It was super hot and I don't think he liked being outside. He is ladies man and would stop to meet all he female dogs. We temp tested him with Rocko and it went very well. I did feel that Blue tried to show dominance a few times but Rocko was good about ignoring or sensing it and when I tugged the leash Blue stood down. Slow introductions are a must with Blue. There was also a few occurrences that we noticed but I'm not sure truly if it's neurological or that he pulled so hard he may have choked himself out, whatever the case, there were a few times that he started wobbling and fell over and was having a hard time staying on his feet. Once the leash wasn't taut he would get back up and walk. We volunteers were concerned based on the notes about his head tremor but we did not see any shaking, just wobbling and loss of control of his back legs.
