Eval notes: 08/26/2023 limited observation due to medical. dog displayed sociability by coming over for treats and allowed me to pet him with a tense body possibly due to environment and/or medical.
Vet Exam Notes:08/22/2023Pt. is QAR, ok to examine. Senior pt. MM pigmented, slightly tacky, CRT <2. No appreciable skin tent. Pt. is eating and drinking well. Thoracic ausculation unremarkable. Abdomen soft and comfortable on palpation. Bandage on RH foot. Removed bandage - pronounced granulation bed on plantar aspect of foot covering entire metacarpal area. Cleaned with chlorhexidine and dried, SSD bandage applied.DDx: non-healing wound, neoplasia, otherPlan: start abx and NSAIDs, sx consult08/25/2023recheck- patient is exhibiting growth along caudal metatarsal/hock region, enlarged popliteal lymph nodes, r/o neoplasiaadvise biopsy +/- amputation- contact clinic to schedule amp
Web Notes:08/26/2023 Porkchop is so well-mannered that he's been given a lordship! This senior guy has a mellow personality and spends his day lounging in the kennel. He walks expertly on the leash, pausing when you do, and seems potty trained. Porkchop has a healing wound on his toes, but he is still able to go for walks and seems to be comfortable. Like a good gentleman, he did not react to other dogs that he passed by.
