maybe Nana has just been a mama so many times she has that perpetually pregnant look about her, but I really wonder if she isn?t in the family way again. She waddles when she walks and her stomach seems quite round/firm for her to just be a chubby girl. She walks well on a leash and mostly ignored every dog, although when one mama forward barked at her while we passed her kennel, Nana did return the barking. She was easy to redirect but had lots to say about the matter, complaining vociferously that the other gal had started it so she shouldn?t be the one to get fussed at. She knows sit and usually takes treats with a soft mouth but can be over eager and grab your fingers so just use normal caution. Aside from some frosting of her muzzle, overly grown nails and teeth that desperately need a cleaning, she is quite spry and in good physical health. She let me pet her and pepper kisses on her face, as well as poke her belly and look at her teeth - all the things that would have had my dogs digging a hole in the backyard to hide my body - without a single bit of fuss.
