Panco A1894345 - Panco was laying in his dirty kennel and looked up at me warily. I offered him treats and he quickly gobbled up the chicken but then ducked his head so I had to work at getting him on lead. He would walk in spurts but we got not much further than the end of his aisle before he stopped altogether, leaning up against the gate of a mama and her pups, as though seeking solace in her protection. He allowed me to pet him without any issue and after I moved on to other dogs, he stared out the kennel with such sad, wistful eyes that made me think he?s already given up. 🥺
