Temp test: https://youtu.be/AVicd3LohIA Plea: Jenny was picked up in regards to a complaint that Jenny?s owner always let her run loose. Jenny is shy but sweet-see notes below. She is HW positive but has no other medical conditions noted. 📝 Volunteer notes: Jenny with her Dumbo ears is so petite! She always has a very low hanging head in her kennel but shows a little bit of personality when you show her an ounce of attention, low wagging her tail and crawling over to you. She leashes easily and walks out while bumping against your legs the entire time, occasionally looking up at you for some reassurance and good ol baby talk. We spent a long time outside where she would wag her tail and get excited to see me no matter how many times I walked up. She?s just so squinty and smiley and soft ☹️ She?ll need some slow intros while she gets her bearings but she had a good temp test after being able to relax outside for a while. I remember the dog on the other side of her kennel kept banging on the guillotine, so I don?t think that?s helped her stay either. She deserves a chance out of here!
Staff notes:
1. Quietly laying on the floor of the kennel when I greeted Jenny. When I opened the door to leash her, she lowered her body, resting her head on her front legs, wagging her tail against the ground. I leashed her and she walked out loosely. She stayed on the side of my left leg, walking on a loose leash. She would bump against my leg as we walked to the runs. When returning Jenny to her kennel, she walked back again on a loose leash, with a wagging tail and floppy ears.
2. Jenny just laying down in the front of her kennel with her head down. Jenny is very shy with the customer. Outside she walks putting her head in the middle of my legs, She repeated this behavior all the way back to her kennel.
