𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Manuel is an interesting looking dog - I think he?s got a bit of Bell?s palsy going on as one side of his face is always contracted in a tight smile and his tongue flops out loosely in that side. Add that and his HW+ status, and I don?t hold much hope that he will make it out tomorrow and it makes me super sad because I know he would be a worthy save. He was SMITTEN with Lila, who I placed in a run next to him and the two of them ran the fence sniffing and barking at each other, it was the most animated I ever saw Manuel be. He?s a bit timid when reaching to put a leash on or take it off, and he prefers to eat treats after you?ve dropped them and walked away. He also has a palpable knot on the underside of his chin that is about the size of a large marble.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: 1 FEMALE PIT; BLACK LRG REFUSING TO LEAVE SENIORS BACKYARD//2ND REQUEST 05/13 - Manuel is just lying down in the front of his kennel, with head down, sad eyes, soft mouth, sniffs the treats but does not eat them in front of me, he waits for me to fence to get up to eat. 05/12 - As I approached the outside run, Manuel was standing in the center of the run. He had wide whale eyes and he kept his head low. His body was stiff and his tail was laid flat against his body but not tucked. I baby talked him trying to get him closer to the runs door. He very slowly approached me head still lowered. I offered treats, by lightly tossing them to him. He took a small sniff of the treats before looking back at me. I baby talked him more and he inched closer to me. I was able to leash him up and after being leashed he walked on a slow loose leash, staying behind me.
