Matt needs a hold 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝗣𝗠 or will be euthanized. We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help.

Volunteer Notes This guy is such a handsome lab/weim/plot hound(?) mix. He?s tall and grey with the heavy floppy lab ears but has a brindling to his coat for flair. His kennel was barricaded and covered - I guess he likes to bring the blanket into his kennel for more bedding - and he was having a blast playing with the multiple enrichment toys in his suite. He leashed up easily and walks in a near perfect heel position, with a nice loose lead. He was uninterested in greeting any dogs, including Rue and Buddy who were kenneled in runs neighboring him, and instead chose to stick close to me and my treat pocket. His ears are really dirty and as I was petting him, I squeezed a bit too hard and he whimpered so there may be an underlying ear infection going on in there. His teeth are relatively nice and clean and he?s a great weight. Beautiful boy!
Shelter Notes Plea: picked up with five other dogs who were loose in a citizen?s yard-kennel cards are below. All are unsocialized-see attached notes on Adopt Eval due to dog escaping his kennel by climbing out. Transferred him to one with a closed top and covered kennel door. Managed to get out of his run this morning. Staff noticed Matt roaming the parking lot and radio'd for assistance leashing. Approach the kennel, Matt greeted me with all four on the floor. Opening the kennel door I was easily able to place the leash on him. He walk out of the kennel readily and while walking to the outside run, Matt maintained a relax body, soft low swaying tail and walks well on a loose leash.
