Volunteer notes: Mirabelle?s kennel was covered and she was standing up on her hind legs barking for attention when I came by. She is very excitable and walks forward on a taut leash but quickly did her business once we got to grass. In the runs, she darted off to the end to sniff around and then came to sit near me for pets. She does know sit and takes treats with a hefty chew, sometimes getting my fingers. She would bark while I was away from the run and really tried engaging Granny with play, bowing and hopping, hollering up a storm before their temp test which went very well. I noticed she had lots of sneezes - maybe something was tickling her nose or maybe coming down with uri? Also, love her speckled feets. 📝 Staff notes: Sitting at the front of her kennel door, when greeted. Stood up on door and began to bark as I looped the leash. After opening the door and leashing her, she walked quickly out of the suite. She did not slow down for treats, walking quickly to the grass. She pottied immediately and continued walking on a tight leash towards the runs. When placed inside she would wiggle her bottom, with a soft open mouth, as I walked over to other dogs. If I began to feed them treats, she would bark towards me. When I walked back and offered her a treat, she did not take it gently. I placed the treats on the ground or in the grass to avoid the hard bite. After pottying, I leashed her and walked her back to the kennel. I tossed treats quickly as she ate only the meaty ones, missing a lot of the other treats. I placed her back in her kennel and she walked to her bedding to sniff the treats and kibble left on it.
