Paulie made my heart hurt. He has scratches and scabs all over his face and neck, and one scratch you can see the fur lifted off of him. He flinched with wide whale eyes as I put the leash on him but never fought me, just really gave me the ?be careful okay, lady?? look. He?s a bit skinny but was just a shy, nervous boy.
