𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Volunteer 1: Amelia is suuuuuch a good girl. She is quiet and reserved, and has so much patience for being only 1. We temp tested her with a VERY rambunctious young pup, and although she didn?t love him, she was very patient and good with him. She walks loosely on her leash, potties outside and is a good girl! Volunteer 2: Sweet Amelia Bedelia. She was so forlorn in her kennel when she thought it was her turn to go out but I asked her to wait a bit longer so I could meet Bell and Jax. When I finally grabbed her, she did these little boing hops and scooted as quickly to the front as she could. She walks really well on a leash and greeted Hachi and Jameson sweetly through the fence line. She knows sit and doesn?t mind using you as a springboard for her gymnastics practice.
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 As I approached the outside run, Amelia was standing up, relaxed with a soft wagging tail. I baby talk her as I leash her up. She walked on a loose leash and her tail gave a soft wag as she walked. I baby talked her as we walked, she would look back up at me and i would pet her a few times. She walked all the way back to her kennel, however at the door to the row she was a little hesitant to enter but with baby talked she walked right through. Amelia has been barking sporadically but howls like a wolf, has been standing in her kennel and when I put the leash on her she lowers her head and outside she walks slowly but her ears alert, she barks at other dogs. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 4/8/23 s/o: AEO brought this dog in and the dog has a wound on top of head and a laceration on left lateral rear leg just above carpus. a: wounds on head and left rear leg p: outreach to decide on plea and will treat with 750mg Cephalexin BID x 14 days and 100mg Carprofen SID x 14 days. Will place to have clip and clean done tomorrow during surgery
