𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘 is injured and needs a hold 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝗽𝗺 or she?ll be euthanized

𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: comp stated dog was hit by car
𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮: This friendly girl was possibly hit by a car-see notes below. On the positive side, she is heartworm negative.
𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 4/18/23: non weight bearing to right rear leg. It appears swollen and bruised
s/o: dog was reported possibly hit by car. She is not wanting to bear weight on right rear leg. There is swelling in leg from thigh down. There is some scabbing on medial side of hock.
a: possible hit by car and suspect possible fractures from femur down to hock
p: outreach to decide on plea and will treat with 100mg Carprofen SID x 10 days and 2.5 50mg Tramadol BID x 10 days and 375 Clavamox BID x 10 days. Radiographs could help determine extent of injury
