Leroy is a RESCUE ONLY pet and needs a hold 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝗣𝗠 or he?ll be euthanized. We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help.

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: Leroy was sitting in the far back corner of his kennel when I came to see him and was visibly shivering from fear, with whale eyes and a tense body. I tossed a few pupperonis his way and he would break his gaze to look at and sniff them, contemplating eating them for a brief moment. I offered Leroy chicken jerky and that did the trick, enticing him to eat the chunks I tossed him and eventually he would approach me to eat them from my hands. He didn't seem to mind when he touched me or I touched him but he always remained cautious. I was able to get him on a leash and remove him from his kennel so I could straighten up a bit, and he kept his distance from me but would approach for more treats. We didn't go for a walk but he did sniff at a few dogs in neighboring kennels very briefly. I felt really bad for poor Leroy as it's evident he just doesn't know what to make of his current plight.
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 4/18: Dog was alligator rolling, thrashing and getting himself tangled on the leash while trying to work up. Had to be tranqed for work up.
This pet can only be tagged by a RESCUE group but please remember all rescues need 𝗙𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 in order to tag this pet and save their life. This pet cannot be fostered or adopted through the shelter, so please message the page if you can help!
