Oakley needs a hold 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝗣𝗠 or he?ll be euthanized. We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help.

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 It was really difficult for me to get good photos of Oakley because he is SO WIGGLY and wanted to be as close to me as possible. You can tell he was starved for attention and food, and it upsets me to no end that he is in the terrible shape he is. He has horrible muscle tone and nearly no visible muscle on his hips and flanks, he?s massively underweight and his head has the hollows at the temples. I cannot ever understand what makes a person treat a living soul the way they do, and it always makes me so sad when the animals are sweet in spite of it all. I wish I could have taken Oakley outside but he is still on stray hold. 😥
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 INTAKE Dog was abandoned and left by previous tenant
𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 4/11/23 s/o: Dog is high heartworm positiive and has some hair thinning and hairloss on ears and lower back. Skin scraping was negative. Dog is very thin with visible ribs, hipbones and abdominal tuck. He only weighs 26.4lbs and should weigh 35-45lbs. Dog has a good appetite a: high heartworm positive and dermatitis possible flea allergy and malnourished p: outreach to decide on plea and dog was treated with advantage at intake for fleas
