BEHAVIOR NOTE Approaching kennel dog is laying doen on blanket, tossed treats but only semi licked one . I placed leash and dog stayed stationary, i started to pull blanket out and dog stayed leaning on blanet. I tried to lift her up but she started to pull her weight down. I started to drag blaket and dog stayed on holding on to blanket. Ended taking dog in blanket to next kennel . Did not walk on leash
BEHAVIOR NOTE As I approached the kennel, the dog was laying down. When the dog noticed me she tried to tuck her head away from me. Avoiding eye contact with me. I baby talked and offered some treats and the dog continued to tuck her head away from me . Her tail was tucked and her ears were back. I had to use a towel to cover her eyes as I carried her to her next kennel.
BEHAVIOR NOTE As I approached the kennel dog was laying down. The dog had heavily painted its kennel in feces. I baby talked and the dog looked up with whale eyes. The dog did not respond to treats or baby talk and was very tense. The dog kept trying to move its body into the corner to avoid my leash. After I leashed the dog, the dog stood up and took a few small steps outside the kennel. However once we made it out of the row and into the hallway, the dog froze, tail tucked and ears down. The dog still not taking treats or responding to baby talk. I had to muzzle and carry dog to its next kennel.
BEHAVIOR NOTE Dog is very timid, shaking, avoids eye contact and lays flat to the ground when trying to pick up. Used baby talk and treats dog would not walk on leash, had to carry.
