So scared https://youtu.be/dtQm2aytKms
Volunteer Notes #1 Gio was crouched down on his kennel bed looking so sad when I arrived, his e-collar enhancing his whale eyes and look. He wasn?t terribly interested in the treats I offered and was super nervous but also trying to be brave, coming up to get sniffs of my pants. It was very loud in his ward - lots of dogs and puppies barking, potential adopters and employees working, and I gathered the impression his poor ears were hurting as he seemed to relax a bit when I removed the collar to get a better look at his face.
#2 Cute but scared. He allowed he to leash him but it took about 8-10 of sweet talk and scratching to persuade him. Walked well on leash but at times overpowered me. Responded to sit once and up with a visual prompt of me patting the bench. Responded inconsistently to other dogs and didn?t care for treats. He seems to have an upset stomach, observed loose bowel movements. He is a strong boy but respondes well to sweet talk and scratches
Shelter Notes 4/07: Gio presented a soft closed mouth with floppy ears while sitting in the front of kennel. I baby talked him and offered treats in a downward position. He took treats while wagging his tail and showing a relaxed body.
4/06: approaching kennel dog has whale eyes, wrickled forhead ears back. Did not take treats when trying to place lash he kept flinching and giving me whale eyes. Muzzled dog and lifted out of kennel i removed leash and dog started to walk keeping tail tucked, ears back, dog walked pulling and zig zagging .
4/05: approaching the kennel , Gio lays in the back corner of the kennel with a tense body and whale eyes. I lasso?d the leash around him and then had to leash muzzle him and carry him to his new kennel because he showed no interest in treats and pancaked on the floor
Medical Notes - none
