About baby girl: 15.5 YEAR OLD BABY GIRL NEEDS A MIRACLE❌️ ⏰️Deadline: 3/28/23 5PM

Volunteer Notes: 'Baby Girl' is a super senior noted as 15.5 years old! 😱 She is euth listed labeled rescue pull only at the city shelter due to behavior / bite history. Notes provided to rescues state she bit a person when they tried separating a dog fight in the home. She was NOT deemed dangerous by the city.
She has extremely limited vision with suspected Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS). Her eyes are very irritated. We also noticed an abnormality on her left hip that may need further exam as it could be a mass or just an old injury.
Someone who knows Baby Girl provided additional information and said they have known her many years. They shared the bite was to the lip of the person and that it occurred after the fight with a pup/young dog (not while being separated as reported by shelter; we don't know which report is accurate). They stated Baby Girl has been neglected and was not raised properly from the beginning. We have learned that, in the best interest of Baby Girl and all other animals, she needs to be an ONLY PET due to a history of not being friendly with other animals ever since she was young.
When we met her, she was extremely sweet, friendly, loving, and still quite mobile for her age. She has been noted to be very friendly with shelter staff too. We know many, MANY dogs who need to be only pets. That does not make them bad dogs, it just means they need a more special home that is committed to keeping them safe and won't put them in situations for them to fail.
Finding a unicorn home for a 15.5 year old mostly blind dog that needs to be the only pet may seem impossible, but we believe with all our hearts that this girl deserves to finish out her life in a loving home that is capable of keeping her and others safe.... she does not deserve to die alone in a shelter.
Please help us find a safe place for Baby Girl. 🙏 Her deadline imposed by the city shelter is 3/28/23. She doesn't have much time
