𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: Princess is such a gorgeous HAM of a dog. She was super easy to leash up and walked on a very loose lead out of the building. She greeted Johnny Depp and Titan in a well mannered way - sniffs and tail wags, then moving on about her business. She knows sit and, while she didn't like the treats I offered her, she did love playing with the squishy toy I tossed. She gave me lots of hugs and wet kisses and was just a sweet girl!
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀
𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚 Princess was turned in by the owner-no details given. Princess was involved in a bite case in 2021; Princess was involved in a fight with another dog. The other dog?s owner/family member tried to break up the fight and was bitten on the hand. The bite was described as major and the victim did go to the hospital and received sutures. Princess has been very sweet and friendly with shelter staff-see notes below. Please let us know if you can help Princess, she is already spayed and chipped and available immediately.
3/18 Vocalizing in kennel, able to redirect with treats initially but when walking past with other dogs she was not interested in treats. During PM walk, she walked with semi-tight leash and found a spot to potty as soon as she was unleashed inside run. Quiet looking out fence at cars while in run after pottying. While walking back inside on leash stopped to talk to another staff member and Princess was pacing around and standing up to look through window initially but once I called her to me she walked over and leaned against me standing still while I pet her head. She had floppy ears, slow wagging tail and squinty eyes. Quiet in kennel after going out to potty, but skittish around adopt eval dogs barking at her in row and will scurry to get away from them with tail tucked.
03/22 Princess was quiet in her kennel this AM; walked with semi-loose leash out to run. Takes kibble with very soft mouth, gives paw. Previous bite case from 12/14/21 - Dog bite to the hand when citizen trying to break up dog fight with neighbor's dog and their own dog.
𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 3/17/23: S/O: loose stool reported A: fecal whips, dx whips P: rx panacur 15ml sid x 3, repeat in 3 weeks on 4/8 sid x 3, repeat in 3 months on 6/18 sid x 3
