Terri ACCT-A-116170 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to reported reactivity to other dogs in the shelter environment. Meet Terri! Terri is a 7 year old gal who was brought in after her owner was incarcerated. Terri arrived at ACCT on July 2nd and since arriving she has been sweet with her handlers and a social girl! When hanging out with Terri, she will lean in for booty scratches and is very tolerant of all handling. She showed interest in toys, but won't take possession of them. Terri has been dog reactive while in our care, which has increased her stress levels at the shelter. In kennel Terri is very focused on other dogs in the kennels around her and will jump on the bars growling and barking at them. Once out of kennel she remains reactive to other dogs as well and will pull towards them growling with a flagging tail. She is a strong girl and needs an experienced handler who is able to work with her on her dog reactivity. She will need to go to a single dog home and preferably and adult only home at this time.
