Yootha was confiscated due to cruelty but you would never know because she is just sooo sweet. Yootha came right with me and enjoyed running outside in the sunshine. She walks well on a leash with some pulling. Yootha loves treats and will sit for them. She takes them well. Yootha was very affectionate with me and loved all the attention I gave her. She is 3 years old and weighs 38 pounds. Yootha is heartworm positive so her new family will need to bring her back for treatment. Heartworm treatment is now included in the adoption fee. I am heartworm positive. I have been at the shelter since Nov 08, 2019.I will be held at Memphis Animal Services until 11/13/2019 to give my owner (if I have one) an opportunity to reclaim me. I am available to be pre-adopted now. Pre-adoption must be done in person at the shelter at 2350 Appling City Cove and will be canceled if my owner reclaims or anything else occurs preventing me from being adopted. Pre-adoption fees are not refundable but will remain as a credit on your account towards another adoption. Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: - Yootha was part of a playgroup on November 20, 2019. Yootha had a scuffle with another dog in the yard. - A MAS volunteer who spent time with me described me as affectionate.
