Become a DogsInDanger Shelter Volunteer
DogsInDanger relies on dedicated volunteers to help give at-risk shelter dogs the visibility they need to find adopters, fosters, rescue placement, or other lifesaving opportunities.
Volunteers assist by adding photos, descriptions, and updates for dogs in shelters across the country. This important work helps ensure that dogs facing urgent situations are seen by the thousands of people who visit DogsInDanger every day.
**No shelter visits are required.** All volunteer work can be done remotely from home.
What You'll Need
* Basic computer and internet skills
* Attention to detail
* A commitment of approximately 10-15 hours per week
* The ability to check and update assigned shelter listings on a daily basis
Because shelter populations change quickly, DogsInDanger listings are highly time-sensitive. Keeping information current is critical for the people working to save these dogs and for potential adopters and rescuers who rely on accurate information.
Shelter Assignment
We have opportunities to assist shelters throughout the United States. You may request a shelter in your state or volunteer to help any shelter that needs support.
