SAVE THE DATE! DogsInDanger Walk-A-Thon Saturday, May 5

60,000. That's how many dogs has helped save. Our impact on the lives of dogs is greater than the top 10 rescues in the United States combined! Against this backdrop of success the relentless march of 'euthanasia' continues unabated. In 2011 another 2 million dogs met their maker at the end of the dreaded needle, or worse, in a gas chamber. There is no moral option but to fight this evil by expanding our reach and impact. Toward that end, this year DogsInDanger will fund and produce a new, hard hitting, Public Service Announcement that will bring the dark drama of the death room into America's living rooms. We truly believe that only by shining a harsh spotlight on the tragedy taking place behind closed doors, will caring people be compelled to demand fundamental change.

In order to make the above a reality we will personally commit countless hours of our time to this effort. But we can't do it without your help. Support the 2012 DogsInDanger Walk-A-Thon! Our third annual "“March for the Dogs’" event will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Yorktown Heights, NY. So come walk with us, and if you are too far to join us in NY, walk wherever you are! Show your support for our lifesaving mission. Registration information will follow in the next few days. Donations will fund a national television Public Service Announcement to raise awareness of this national tragedy and reduce the number of dogs being killed.

We're so fortunate to have you as our supporters. We hope that you are ready to join us en route to our next victory, and that you will be inspired to March for the Dogs!
